Green City Produce Ltd is a company that was established in 1993 by Mohamed Hamid. Khalil Hamid soon joined his brother’s endeavors and since then they have worked hand in hand to provide the service and quality products that their customers expect. The company now has over 30 employees, 15 trucks servicing over 350 customers in South Western Ontario. Over the years, due to the steady growth of their clientele base, Green City was forced to expand its service area outside London. Early in 1999, Green City began to service areas east of London through Kitchener, Waterloo and surrounding areas. Soon after, it was apparent that their services were needed across South Western Ontario. Currently, Green City is operating out of three separate facilities providing their customers with the best service and delivery possible. The Guelph location distributes produce along the 401 corridor while their Mississauga location services the GTA and along the 403 district. With their continuous growth and desire to provide new creative products to a constantly changing industry, they make available an extensive list of organics, specialty and international products from around the globe. To further provide superior choice and service, customizable processed products are the direction their company is heading to become the industry leader.
